I have been mug porcelain painting for around a year now, and I enjoy it. I had earlier attempted to use different paints brands, and that resulted in a complete mess, dry quickly, and it's often challenging to achieve the correct colors.
You can not use any paints to paint mugs, you need to use particular kind of enamel paint designed for porcelain cups and that means its more resilient to chipping and scratching and is also safe to hand washing. One brand I liked the most is Cadence enamel paint that I recently bought to experiment on porcelain mugs. The one bottle or paint is priced at $7.
The consistency is creamy and rich, making them a pleasure to use, particularly when blending them to attain the perfect color. In contrast to certain porcelain paints that dry rapidly, Cadence paints stayed workable for longer durations, enabling me to perfect my art on the mugs.
Small drops of paint can cover a one side of the mug.Once you complete your mug, you should put it in an oven and warmed to 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. I painted 30 mugs using these paints, and I still possess a significant amount remaining.
Cadence enamel paint set designed for porcelain is an excellent option for glass art lovers. It includes all the colors necessary for a fundamental project, and blending these paints is so simple. The completed mugs appear fantastic with these vibrant, professional porcelain paints.
